So much depends upon….
A round, gold
Piece of metal.
That lies on my finger,
Like it is apart of my body.
What does this hunk of tin represent?
It symbolizes a lot:
Honesty, Loyalty, Happiness,
And most of all Eternity!
My friendly metal
Is important to me.
It reminds me
That I am loved.
I received my cylinder metal
On a beautiful, sunny day.
On this day, I became someone else,
Just by accepting my wedding ring.

Loved it! Your object is so ordinary but you turned it into something extraordinary. My ring is not gold but it is a part of me. It too reminds me that I am loved.
